In our community, some have been involved in churches for years; some haven’t. Whether you’re more comfortable in a suit or in jeans, you’ll be at ease.
We believe that life has to be lived intentionally if it is to be lived at all. That means a long-term investment of time and heart. Life-on-life sharing and commitment to real relationships is at the core of our life together.
This intentional Christian community exists for the sake of others. It’s a home to live from. What we have been called to is bigger than we are, will take far more than we have to give and will require more wisdom that we possess collectively. We are not relying on us to make life happen. We are relying on Life, Himself…Jesus Christ.
Our relationship to Jesus and to each other is not an obligation to be checked off the list. It is life together and hope. We believe that real community can only come from its Author. In following Him, we find life unfolding, not imploding.

About Father Mark
The Rev. S. Mark Browne, was born in Baytown, Texas in 1951 where he was impacted by God's grace at age 19. He became a follower of Jesus Christ on August 28, 1970 when Jesus Christ became Lord rather than simply "fire insurance" in his life. He lived in Austin, Texas from 1969-1983, where he received his BA from the University of Texas and his MDiv from the Episcopal Theological Seminary of the Southwest. While in Austin, Mr. Browne was an active evangelistic leader through an interdenominational Christian fellowship called "The Well."This ministry had a direct outreach to the University of Texas campus. He worked extensively with college students in "coffee-house" and street evangelism settings for ten years (1970-1980).
